QIGONG PRACTICE

Qigong practices use movement, breath and intention to improve mental and physical well being. Qigong movements promote balance, flexibility, strength, inner calm and resilient vitality.  There are many Qigong forms - with movements similar to Tai Chi in flow and balance.  Most forms are suitable for beginners, as well as experienced students looking to deepen their practice.

MONDAY MORNING QIGONG

8:00 - 8:30 AM
Monday Morning Qigong is FREE.  All are welcome!
Monday Morning Qigong will deepen breath, vitalize your body and relax your mind - preparing you for the week to come.
All you need is space to bend forward and to stretch your arms around you, clothing which does not restrict movement and openness to a fresh experience.  All forms in this class may be performed standing or in a seated position.
To join the group, please email:
mmthoreson@gmail.com
and I will provide you with a Zoom link.
If you would like to support this Monday Morning Qigong by "paying it forward",  please do so!  You could consider reaching out to someone who's isolated, sharing YOUR talents, or contributing to an organization whose mission calls you.  For your convenience, here are links to organizations which are doing important work in our community and beyond.

MONDAY AFTERNOON QIGONG
4:30 - 5:30 PM
Afternoon Qigong practice sets are chosen to support vitality, calm, balance and strength.  We "practice resilience" through the rhythmic, natural expansion outward and softening inward of breath and body. Practice sets typically change seasonally.

Please wear loose comfortable clothing and give yourself at least a 3+ foot radius of space to move.
